Four faces of M. J. Maddox
One of the many mistakes I’ve made in my life is that of using too many names for my writing. Now that I’m finally getting serious about having a writing career, I have to deal with all these identities.
Margaret Joan Maddox: my birth name. It appears on some of my academic writing.
Peggy Maddox: the name my family and many of my friends know me by. It appears on some of my published articles and short fiction.
Maeve Maddox: my own choice of a name when I was in a reinventing phase.
Wallworth: this was my married name. My two juvenile novels, many short articles on education and some short children’s fiction appear under either Margaret Wallworth or Peggy Wallworth.
M. J. Maddox: This is a name I use in an attempt to bring the other versions together.
